In fact, landlords have been known to decline tenants that have a poor credit rating. Further, in terms of home mortgages, one's credit score can even affect the interest rate one receives.
Lenders will check credit reports and even if a person is deemed credit worthy, a marginal credit score can earn a person a higher interest rate over the individual that has an excellent credit score.
